Gold Awards自1984年設立，表彰旅遊產業的創新、永續及實務成果。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>觀光處指出，南投在PATA成立75週年時獲獎。這次肯定不是單一活動，也不是一次行銷成果。合歡山暗空公園多年來持續進行環境保育、光害防制、星空品質監測、永續旅遊及產業培力。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>2019年取得國際暗空認證\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>合歡山暗空公園2019年取得國際暗空協會IDA認證。它是臺灣第一座，也是亞洲第三座獲國際認證的暗空場所。縣府持續推動友善燈具改善、星空導覽人才培訓及星空旅遊推廣。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>縣府也透過自治條例建立管理制度。守護星空不只是一項觀光活動，還連結環境、生態、教育、文化與地方產業。相關工作由政府機關、國家公園、林業及自然保育單位共同參與。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>公私協力維護南投星空\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>大學、天文專業團體、地方觀光協會、在地業者及原住民族部落，也投入星空環境維護、光害改善、人才培訓與觀光行銷。觀光處表示，合歡山暗空公園已成為南投推動永續發展的國際品牌。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>觀光處表示，PATA的目的地韌性獎項，重視目的地面對發展的治理能力。南投有高山、森林、湖泊、河川與多元生態文化資源，觀光不能只看旅客人數，也要兼顧環境承載、產業發展與居民生活。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>縣府目前推動「南投永續旅遊行動（NSTC）」。內容涵蓋低碳遊程、永續旅宿、環境教育、在地產業、星空旅遊及自然資源保育。觀光處表示：「不是把永續當作口號，而是把永續落實在目的地治理。」合歡山暗空公園的保育與旅遊管理，仍是南投永續觀光的重要工作。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cimg
